Privacy Policy

• Account information — your email address, a hashed password, and an optional display name.
• Financial data you enter or import — transactions, amounts, descriptions, categories, notes, tags, and the businesses you create.
• Receipts you scan or upload — the image and the details Ron extracts from it (merchant, date, total).
• Basic technical data — needed to operate the service (e.g. request logs). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

We use your information solely to provide Ron: to show you where your money goes, surface insights, organize business expenses for Schedule C, store your receipts, and sync your data across the web and mobile apps. We use your email to send transactional messages (verification, password reset).

We share limited data with trusted providers only to run the service:

• Anthropic — to read a receipt image and extract the merchant, date, and total. Images are sent for processing to power scanning.
• Cloudflare R2 — private, access-controlled storage for your receipt images.
• Stripe — to process Ron Pro subscription payments. Card details are handled by Stripe; we don't store them.
• Resend — to deliver transactional email.

These providers may only use the data to perform services for us.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time — in the mobile app under Settings → Delete account, or by contacting us. Deletion removes your transactions, businesses, categories, receipts, and profile and cannot be undone.

Passwords are stored hashed. Receipts are kept in private storage that only you can access through the app. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, though no system is perfectly secure.

Ron is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy; we'll revise the date above when we do.
